Eligibility of Coverage
Adults are eligible for coverage if age 18 to 70 (18 to 64 in Minnesota). The Family Plan also insures your spouse+ if age 18 to 80 (18 to 64 in Minnesota), and all unmarried dependent children under the age of 21 (age 19 in New Jersey, 22 in North Dakota, 24 in Indiana, 25 in Minnesota, 25 in Texas, 25 in Washington, 26 in Utah, 30 in Illinois if a member of the Armed Forces of the US, 26 in Connecticut if not covered under a group plan through their own employment and a resident of CT, 25 in Missouri if not covered under any health insurance policy or under a federal state government program and a resident of MO, 28 in Ohio if resident ), or under age 25 (age 19 in Connecticut, 24 in Louisiana, 26 in North Dakota and Illinois, no age limit in Texas, up to and including age 25 in Georgia and a resident, 24 in Delaware and 26 in New Hampshire if have no dependents and resident or full-time student with no coverage from any other group or individual plan, 28 in OH if a resident and not employed by an employer that offers any health plan and not eligible for Medicaid or Medicare) if a full-time student at an accredited educational institution. Those insured may have no other accidental insurance with Mutual of Omaha Insurance Company.
